Congressman Burton believes we need to secure our borders now!
That’s why he introduced the Border Security and Elimination of Sanctuary for Illegal Aliens Act of 2007. The bill will:
- Ensure that the border fence will finally be built, reinforced with state of the art surveillance technology and manned by highly qualified and experienced border patrol agents.
- Require local law enforcement officials to work closely with federal officials to identify and promptly deport illegal aliens.
- Immediately deport any illegal alien who commits crimes while in the United States.
